Has Ireland industrialized, or is it still country for the most part?

I was looking into going to Ireland for the Summer, and was wondering if Ireland has gone "American" as I like to say it, or if it still like the pictures show; rolling green hills and cute little stone huts everywhere..If it is still countrylike, what specific places? Links/pictures would be awesome.

All the towns/cities have industrialized and gone "American" but there is alot of beautiful villages and countryside mainly in the far west, south, and north

Go to this link to find what ur looking for or try some links below

Places to go should be Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Connemara, galway, clare, kerry and really try to go to Aran Islands they are so beautiful

I went to ireland in may, and it had some fantastic countryside/rolling hills, etc.
It was a great trip. there are some nice cities/small towns, but there are a lot of extremely rural areas.

We're one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world. If you want that sort of stuff you can find it but it's mostly just for the tourists.
