Nope not really. We were thinking about buying/building a house, but we've put that on hold and are watching the market with growing schadenfreude, waiting like vultures for the crash. It's a bit sick and evil, but hey, if it saves us 100,000 euro, why not?

We have. We can finally get a builder to do a bit of work for us and he won't charge us an arm and a leg for it either or tell us he can't fit us in till next year or tell us the job is too small for him.

PROPER ORDER!!

I think everyone has suffered with some type of cutbacks, this year for aussies has been petrol prices and home loan interest rates and now with the drama in america who knows what reaching effects it will have! :)

I was going to move back to Dublin as I haven't lived there in 12 years, but decided against it.

Hopefully things will pick up soon.
