It's beautiful - and fun - but when I went about 2 years ago there were tons of tourists everywhere we went. Oh, and it rained every single day and that was in April.

I live there. It's so pretty and, well, I don't think it'll be as fun as you probably think it will be, because I live here and everything is everything to me and I'm so usd to it, but if you're a tourist you'll get a kick out of it! Were are you going in Ireland???

I was there almost 2 years ago and can't wait until the day I can return! It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. We stayed in Southern Ireland and the people were wonderful and the countryside is so green and in so many places untouched by time. You won't ever want to leave!

I've lived here all my life. I wouldn't call it fun, exactly, but it's pretty. The pace of life is very slow. We've got lots of nice scenery, castles and landmarks. And, of course, our Guiness is the best in the world! lol
This is the official site for Irish tourism http://www.ireland.ie/
I hope you have a great time here! =)

Edited to add: the cost of living here is higher than America, the prices being slightly less than the UK.

I live in Ireland, it's not all booze which is great
there is so much to see and do here, the people are lovely and helpful and yes they all speak english as their primary language inly in the western parts they might speak a little "galige". it can be expensive but it is all releative, you work, you get paid. it's a beautiful place, it can rain a lot but thats the price you pay for beauty! hit me up with any questions, good luck!
