I find that they're fine to fly with as long as you know what to expect and accept it. No free food or entertainment. Possibility of loud groups. Annoying queues and no seating = mad rushes for the plane. Using airports way outside of cities(sometimes). Etc. It sounds bad but just remember that you're flying for really cheap prices(in the grand scheme of things). Try your best to just relax and let everybody else be crazy and manic as they fight their way on the the flight! I think it's usually worth it in the end, especially if it's all your budget will allow.

Yeah, the plane did'nt go hurtling into the Irish Sea on my way back from Wales.............thats about it really.

an bhuil gaeilge agat?
yep, sure have. You just need to remember that your total weight (carry on and otherwise...i 1think) can't exceed 15kg. If you go over you pay out your @s$

NO.... i flew from Dublin to London with them once, never again! our flight was delayed by an hour and for that hour they left our bags on the runway in the LASHING rain, bumpy flight there to open our bags and discover everything soaking wet! i had a pair of suede boots in my bag which got so wet i had to bin them!sob! Aerligus is more expensive but is well worth it!!!!

Yes - but that was years ago.

I have also had the worst flight of my life on Ryanair. (Manchester to Dublin - the flight was packed with a bunch of noisy drunks going on their stag night.)
