I holiday in Ireland every summer for about a month. I like to take the trains all over but I generally stay in and around Cork as I like the arts and history. I have stayed in Kinsale, Limerick and Dublin too and would recommend them all. Last summer for the first time I spent a week in the North in Belfast and Londonderry - great history lesson in the ravages of war! Rural Ireland is a dream with picturesque villages, sod and thatch roofed cottages and loads of sheep and seemingly rivers and streams everywhere. Very beautiful. |

Been to Northern Ireland a lot more as my family is from there.

Northern Ireland. Travelled thru Moorne Mountains and also up the coast to Ballycastle in the far north. Stayed with relies just out of Belfast. An awesome country and wonderful people. Are going back in March for longer this time. |

yep, ive gone to donegal, roscomonn, sligo, mayo, galway, dublin, limrick, and clare. and i absolutly love it, each part is more beautiful than the last
i woudl have to say donegal was prob the most beautiful, i was at the very tip in a small village right on the ocean
anywhere you go in ireland im sure you will love it, the people are always friendly and the food is great as well. nothing can beat a good night in the pub for a good laugh either, as the irish are infamous for their "craic" |
