The troubles are over, it's quite peaceful now! You wont get in trouble for being a certain religion! Dont worry! But sure if you are worried(which you needn't be) just dont mention your religion. But you will be fine. Promise.

hi you
i think i understand your question and if i am right your heading to northern Ireland and worried about getting into trouble over your religion, well worry no more, what ever troubles where there have now pass and we all both north and South of the border are working head to keep the peace long and lasting i hope you enjoy both your trips there

Things are a lot quieter in Northern Ireland in the past couple of years. I think if you don't mention anything, and if anyone tries to get a rise out of you about it while you're there, just smile at them and say 'whatever'. They can only upset you if you let them.
I don't know which of them is worse - the hardliner Unionist for getting worked up about a battle that took place more than 300 years ago, or the hardliner Republicans that get worked up over the Irish (there wasn't even a Republic then) losing that same battle over 300 years ago.
I have a message for both sides: Get Over It.

it is safe going up there now the troubles are practically over so you have absolutly nothing to worry about.

There used to be lots of trouble there in like, the 70s, but it's calmed down a bit. You'll just need to be careful and stay safe. But honestly, I don't think you have anything to be worried about.
Take care!
