I should be doing something else

As Eddie F says, it really depends on your are of experise.
A lady I used to work with is now with a company that allows her to work from home, she is a bookkeeper/payroll officer.
My position allows me to work from home now and again, but generally I have to be in the office.
I did a quick google search and found this website: http://www.workfromhomeinireland.com/ You can do sales jobs from home here, but a lot of them seem to be commission only, so realistically, you could spend 6 hours making calls but not get a sale, and no sale equals no money despite the hours you had put in.
I know a guy who supplemented his money by buying and selling on Ebay by using software to find badly worded items/ spelling mistakes etc, and then sold them on. This might be worth a try.
Just be careful because there are a lot of scams out there. |

If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).
You can find legitimate home businesses in the areas of direct sales, affiliate marketing, and network/referral marketing, encompassing a variety of product lines and/or services, including healthcare, health and wellness, energy, insurance, legal, real estate, online shopping, baby products, bath and body, books, candles, cosmetics, food, kitchenware, home interior, jewelry, romance, travel, toys, crafts, and stationary.
Some legitimate telecommuting and freelance opportunities include customer service, virtual assistant, tutor, telemarketer, sales, transcription, translation, blogging, online guide, writer, editor, consultant, concierge, nursing, mystery shopping, tech support, marketing, and online juror.
Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org for potential scams. |
