congrats on the wedding,
what can you expect :) dublin is a great city the weather not so much but don't let that put you off, dublin is one of the friendliest cities ive ever seen talk to the people and you'll get the best info on good restaurant's pubs and shows, dublin i pretty expensive though public transport is cheap but taxis aren't!! the only advantage to a taxi is your driver will most likely know everything going on in the city they'll recommend the best places to go!It is also worth mentioning that the Taxi drivers in Dublin they are great a little comedy act in themselves very friendly and very funny. You will never meet a grumpy Dublin taxi driver!
the shopping is great especially on grafton street in the city centre, some nice places to go are the Japanese gardens and horse studs just outside dublin, gaiety theatre for a show (city centre) temple bar for a night out you wont forget!!! some lovely restaurants in temple bar and great shops to its my fave part of the city its always buzzing no matter what time of day or night! the Guinness store house is a surprisingly interesting place to go as well. The Guinness storehouse on St James Gate is definitely worth a visit. 14 euros admission, which includes a free pint of guinness in the Gravity bar on the roof with it's brilliant views of Dublin
Tour bus - Dublinbus Citytour is a great way to see a lot of Dublin in a short space of time - approx 1 hour 15 mins for the whole tour including 21 stops starts 9.30 am last bus 5.00pm every 10 - 15 mins at each stop so there is not a lot of waiting around for the next bus if you have hoped off. Hop on Hop off tours allows you to jump off any place that's of interest to you and just rejoin the next tour bus when finished. BEST TIP : - Do the Tour Bus before anything else as they provide a book with discounts off admission fees for a lot of places of interest.
If you are looking for comedy try 'The Bankers' pub 16 Trinity Street nice pub and down stairs they have the comedy acts. One act you could see is The Craic Pack.

Coldish weather and good beer. Dublin is a great city - very small and easy to get around. It's very nice in the winter, not so crowded.
Congratulations on the marriage. |

Firstly, Congratulations! and I wish you a very cosy bed wherever you are staying, tell them you are on your honeymoon you never know what you might get, we love honeymooners here.
Regarding your question it is not easy because I don't know exactly what you mean and I don't know where you are coming
from and what you are used to so with that in mind I will give you a site that you might like to check with o.k.
www.visitdublin.com www.dublintourism.com
I hope you both enjoy Ireland, and bring warm clothing o.K.
