For a group of 100-150, you'll be needing a meeting room or a conference room. Most hotels have one so you'll just have to inquire from them as to how much the rental would be. Sometimes, if you book enough rooms in the hotel, they would let you use the meeting room for free.

You can book a function room in most big hotels in dublin, but some are not so cheap. Better value deals can be found ont eh outskirts of the city, such as Red cow Morans hotel. has function rooms plus there is a large bar beside it which also has its own function rooms plus nite club, only issue is distance from city centre. Also dont limit yourself to pubs, places like the vaults pub can be hired for groups and some bars in the city will actually give u a room for free once u can fill it and guarentee business.

Depending on what part of the city you want the hotel to be located most of the hotels cater for parties especially for the large numbers you say will be going, Morans Red Cow Hotel, The Spa Hotel Lucan, Great Southern Hotel, Landsdown Hotel, Buswells, Regency Hotel there are loads of them, you would have to ring them and speak to the party co ordinator some of them wont let you have the room unless you order food, try some of the clubs like GAA Club Houses or CIE Clubs

Certain hotels in Dublin can be strict on large parties because of Stag & Hen parties that flood the city every weekend.

By advice would be to look for a hotel located in the temple bar area, most of these hotels will accept large parties and are centrally located to Dublins drinking district (Temple Bar).
