How can I find an inexpensive bus tour of Ireland?
I am a widow but I don't mind traveling alone but I hesitate to drive in a foreign country. I would like to take a tour of Ireland this spring or summer but I have a limited budget. Any suggestions or advice?
If you don't mind travelling independantly Bus Eireann do a selection of bus tickets which you can find at the link below.
There are many good websites to find reasonable accomodation throughout Ireland I have included some of those as well.

i went a few years ago...and found that they have a wagon with a pony that pulls it...i plan to get one next time and travel the slow personal way...you can sleep on the wagon as well....it is covered and has two bed areas...and since there is grass and farms all over the country side I could stop and let him eat...also go to scotland and ireland in one visit...and the irish love visitors so stop in for a chat around noon and bring music if you can...they will love the visit and they will share with you as well...

I live in Belfast and some of our friends have been on bus tours with Ulsterbus and really enjoyed them. Try http://www.translink.co.uk Then click on Ulsterbus Tours on the right of the page and then Quality Coach Holidays 2007. There's an Ireland Coast to Coast trip that takes you to a good variety of places all over the country.
