it depends on what part of the country you are in, how names are pronounced, so like the nae Aoibhleen, some say AA-veen, others say EE-veen, both are right for their region.
I'd say it Aa-veen-a.

But I'm from the east, ask someone from Donegal, or Cork, and they'd say it differently.

dollymix (now geeky for a month)
I-veen-ah or A-veen-ah I can imagine.

Orla C: Aoibheann can be pronounced in various different ways. I know a girl who pronounces her name Ay-veen, and then another Ee-van. Just depends on what the person likes to be called

Never heard of it. If it's meant to be a variant of Aoibheann, then it looks like an English speaker's attempt to pronounce Aoibheann phonetically.

Never heard of it, it must be a misspelling of another name

It says it's a variation on this name, Aoibheann, which I would pronouce A-veen so perhaps Aibfinnia would A-veena

edit: I'm going to call my kids Fred, it will save time & no question marks about pronounciation
