Hi ya about 3 hours by car, around 4 on the train or bus. If going by car its a great road most of the way.

From Sligo to Dublin

By car 3 hours.......some nice spots to stop for a sambo too on the way.

About the same on the train, i don't think the train is as interesting though.

Flight time is about 20 minutes. AerArran fly. Quick and easy and fun.

by car from sligo outskirts of dublin eg liffy valley 2to3hrs depending on time of day,city add1/2 to 1hr.

train from sligo much better if going to city......
