hiya myrna f,im irish and i think you will love it besides it being expensive and the crap weather!but we have a beautiful country and really friendly people,we love foreign people coming over,its nice to mix with different nationalitys!dont like dublin though,dont stay there!people arent as nice and its just the same as any other big city in europe!getting dangerous there lately as well,a lot of shootings!its nice to visit though for the shops,esp the drumconda shopping centre,has everything!i live in galway,its a nice size city and all the foreign love it here!they all say the same thing dublin nice to visit but wouldnt live there!

Depends. For just about everyone, it's a great place to visit. For people moving there, well it depends on what you like and where you are moving to. If you are from anywhere hot (California, Texas, Florida, etc.), then you will find Ireland very cold. If you like shopping, you may find it limited compared to most American cities. If you like meeting people, then you will love it.

I would recommend that you vacation there a few times to see what Ireland has to offer. Though it's not very large, it is very diverse. Travel 60 miles in any direction and you will be in a very different place, though it may not be that obvious.
