Ireland is quite expensive and the weather isn't the best but the reason why its so highly rated is for the great atmosphere, beautiful landscape and the wonderful people . Dublin is a very cosmopolitan city with lots of history. I would definitely recommend you travel around the west coast too, it has absolutely outstanding scenery. Ireland caters for all ages and interests so check out http://www.failteireland.ie/ Enjoy!!

i think it is okay, very famous for its Waterford crystal.I have been there shopping afew times.there`s a river running right through the main street. a nice hotel there on the main street front.reasonable shopping area, personally i prefer cork for shopping. Irish people are quite friendly where ever you go, it is all steeped in great history, But it is quite expensive.
