How long does mail take to reach ireland from the uk?

If it is going to Dublin, Cork or Belfast and posted before noon, it will be there the next day. To rural Ireland takes an additional 1 or 2 days.

bluebell
I live in rural Ireland. Mail from Northern Ireland and Scotland reaches me next day, but from the rest of UK takes 2 or 3 days. At busy times like Christmas, it could take a day longer.
