I live just beside portmarnock.....and no you can't bargain a price with irish taximen as they will have a meter running as soon as you get in the car. If the taxi is at night you could pay around €20 for one person travelling, but anymore people it could be around €30

It will depend on traffic really and how long it takes to get there. another factor is time of day and is it week or weekend. You need to allow approx €25 - €30 for it. No bargaining.

I stayed there one time --it is about 10 miles roughly. The taxi fare will probably run at about 25 $ give or take. You can bargain with the driver and try to determine a flat price before you start driving though.

Dub over here
I used to live in Portmarnock (Strand Road) and it all depends if you are leaving Tomangos loaded or just a little tippsy!!!

Is tomangos still open!!!!

nadie
I live near there too and you can't bargain it's about €20
