Ignore the last post. It will cost you 30-35euro no matter how many passengers (4max in a normal taxi), including luggage. I live in the city centre in the christchurch area (not far from temple bar) and taxi to and fro the airport on a regular basis and trust me you wont have to pay any more then 30-35e.
You could always catch the 16/16a bus from the airport which only costs 2euro and will leave in Dame Street (right beside temple bar)
Hope this helps.
EDIT: I dont know why some people are giving estimates of 15euro. I live right beside temple bar and go to the U.K and Germany a lot for work, trust me, you wont get one for less than 30euro.
In regards to costing 15e from Santry, Santry might be right beside the airport but consider the time it takes to come out of the airport from arrivals and come down the airport rd, with the meter on, theres always some traffic in the airport, trust me I do this journey regularly, cheapest I have ever paid was 28e and that was nearly a year ago and at night time, dearest ive ever paid was 39e, but that was at tea time right into rush-hour traffic. Trust me, budget for 30-35e and you'll be on the money...literally! |

expect to pay 60/70 euro, plus 5 for each additional passenger and another 5 for each piece of luggage.
better to get the airport coach for 15 euro, it leaves just outside the arrivals terminal and runs every 15 minutes.
Dublin taximen have a bad reputation for ripping off tourists. |
