How should I spend two days in County Kerry Ireland?
Four of us, including my adventurous 80 year old grandparents will be renting a car in early October to see the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula (or both?) What should we try to see? How long does it take to drive the Ring of Kerry. Where would you stay?
We have visited the Dingle Peninsula twice and the Ring of Kerry once. You could do both in 2 days but it would be tight. Definitely stay in a Bed & Breakfast, see link. You could stay in Dingle Town and drive from there to do the Ring of Kerry loop. That will take a full day with stops and then spend your last day exploring the Dingle Peninsula. The Ring of Kerry should be enjoyed in good weather, so arrange your schedule so that you see the Ring when it is sunny.
Personally, I would recommend the Ring of Kerry over the Dingle Peninsula. But they are both beautiful and you won't be disappointed with either one.
i am from ireland so get drunk and it take half an hour

We have just got back from Ireland (Friday) and we loved the place.
I would recommend seeing the Lakes of Killarney and the Torc waterfall, amazing sights.
Driving through the Beara, and taking the Healy pass, it has the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.
Ireland is beautiful and we only spent 3 full days there. We will certainly be going back .
The people are wonderful and the the country is beautiful.

You can do it in a day. I'd advise staying in Killarney if you want to make it a day trip. Otherwise check out www.local.ie and click on Kerry to find accommodation out on the Ring itself.

Ha wow! I have just come back from there! I have family in Ireland and we went all around.
We rented a villa in County Kerry near the coast somewhere. We spent time on the beach and went to see Ladies View (My dad did a lot of driving)

u could do both but it would mean early start both days. both routes are quite different - one mainly inland, the other mainly coastal. both however are equally scenic. any tourist office should advise on distances.
