I'm going on vacation to Ireland, some advice?

It's been recommended that i go to the south and visit Blarney castle (see location at: http://www.myguideireland.com/blarney-castle ) and then go to Belfast which is Northern Ireland, is this possible in 5 days?

Sure it's possible, but it's a bloody awful thing to be doing, spending an entire day on a bus in Ireland .... Stay in one of the areas on the first trip, you can always come back.

Most people can't NOT come back .... ;-)

Ireland is really small...about the size of Rhode Island...so you can probably see the whole country in that long if you want to...the problem is the roads, they really don't have highways...but it is BEAUTIFUL, you will have a great time!

Yes of course it is Belfast is only like 2 hours bus journey from Dublin and if you ever go to Ireland you can't go there without visiting Belfast you could probably see the whole off Ireland in 5 days if your lucky

IsabellaParis
Yeah you could almost cover the whole of Ireland in that time!

Sure you can even if it's a bit tight... I suggest you visit the North and then fly from Belfast to Cork, and visit the South (Blarney is about 20 minutes from Cork City).

Look for cheap flights on: www.aerarann.com and www.ryanair.com.

Yeah the country is not very big to go from Galway to Dublin which are across the country from eachother takes about 4 hours so it can be done in a few hours.
