The best way to see the city is on one of the open air bus tours. They'll take you around and share all the history.

Make sure you get a picture of the most photo-graphed door in Dublin! 8-)

It's a wonderful city. Most any pub is a grand time.

And don't forget to see the Guiness Brewery.

Temple Bar District

Dublin Castle

Trinity College-Book of Kells

Train trip to Blarney Castle--so much fun and it is gorgeous

National Gallery

National Museum-Archeology Branch

Guinness Factory-I thought it was lots of fun, though it does get mixed reviews

Ha'Penny Bridge

Christ Church Cathedral

St. Patrick's Cathedral

James Joyce Center if you are into his work

Kilmainham Gaol--had to cut this from our trip because we traveled to Cork and Cobh

I have a much better idea: Go to Cork or Galway.

If your like me and hate beer dont bother with the Guinness Factory. It is a self guided tour and you keep asking yourself what the items on display are all about.?The only highlight is the complimentary stout at the end and the view of the city. Not worth the 14 euro at all.

I recommend seeing

Temple Bar district for partying (free)
The Spire for modern architecture (free)
The Book of Kells @Trinity College for ancient artifacts (about 10 euro)
National Museum for Viking history (free)
Town of Howth 20-30 mins north of Dublin on the train (Dart) for beach side fish and chips (free)
St Stephens Green for a relaxing walk (free)
Grafton Street for shopping and Buskers (free)
The Celt bar in Talbot street for the best live traditional music from 9.30pm every night. (free + 4.80 for a pint)

Deadly!
