My mom doesn't think I'll find one.

What a sad shower of gits you have answering your question or at least giving their extraordinarily narrow view of a subject they know nothing about. Go to the village of Crusheen in Clare. It's about 12 miles north of Shannon Airport. Ask for the StoryTeller at the petrol station in Crusheen and use the password "Up the Banner". If the StoryTeller is in repeat the password and then ask HIM where you'll find a leprachaun. Tell him, if he asks that Shauneen a Corrig sent you.

Leprechauns are mythical creatures sorry to burst your bubble. Irish people tend to have a sronger affinity with fairys(another myth). Fairys have strong connection with irish stories farmers won't touch unusual bumps or trees in their fields believing them to be cursed by fairies and also fairies sometimes snatch children replacing them with a different child known as a changling. Leprechaun was thought uo by the tourist board the best place to find them is the souvenir shops although the area around Killarney in County Kerry is very beautiful and i i were a leprechaun i would live there!!!
