There's a book out now that might help, I think it's called the Rainy Day guide to Ireland - it's in bookshops, you could probably get it on the net too. It's full of ideas for days out, with contact details, opening hours, everything you'll need.

over around clare is very good for kids, there's the cliffs of moher, doolin cave, liscannor open farm, dennis den (ennis, may have changed name)

cant remember where else we brought them but v child friendly

My friend went there and she stayed at a huge house.. It was haunted! i swear! like there was a dinning room like perfectly set like in a magazine and she took a picture of it on her digital camera and in the picture there was blood and knives.. scary! (i saw the picture...) so dont stay at huge houses!!!!!!!
