Hey, ya the isic. is a great idea. Im 19 and have mine with me all the time. Its handy id, and it can be used to get student discount in buses etc. Its €13 but the only problem is that you need a letter from your school to say that you are a student, which might be harder to get if the school office is closed. Still worth the try, and it really is accepted internationally, it was accepted everywhere in spain last summer!

hi you
there are many forms of photo id`s you can get you can try and get the gardai age id card your school will do one for you if you bring along passport photo`s even if your on holidays your school office is still open if your a member of some club or have you gone for a provisional driving license or learner permit for a car or bike

Can you not get a garda age card or is that over 18? Well get a student travel card, I hate them cuz they're useless but you can get them under 18, oh wait you're prob fin from school? Hmmm, sorry I dont know?

You dont need an ID. Oxegen is for over 17.

If you under 17 you have to be accompanied by some one over 25. They need ID and have to fill in a form for you to be allowed in. But you dont need the ID they do.

Heres what the website says

"OXEGEN is strictly 17s and over only - ID required and will be checked vigorously before entry.

Under 17s will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund."

In my experience though the person with you only has to be over 18. Ive signed for people most years at oxegen and my ID showed that i wasnt over 25 they said as long as I was 18 it was fine. The people I was signing for ranged from 16 to 9.

student card

you can get a travel card in Trinity in Dublin, You need proof you are who you say you are (LIke a passport) and a letter from your school. With regards to the letter, dont worry - exams are on, so the school offices will be open. Office workers get a month off work in summer.

Do you have a driving licence.even a provisional?

Do you have a student card? You could also invest in an ISIC card

Edit: ISIC - International Student Identification Card, also known as a USIT card in Ireland,
http://www.istc.org/sisp/index.htm

Give them a ring, they should be able to tell you where your nearest USIT office is and/or send you an application form:
