Yes by plane but you dont need one by ferry

Carry your passport at all times for flights.....always is a need for photo I.D

no you wont need a passport but what you mite need is some form of photo i.d to broad the plane more over if is is Ryan air you flying with

You need to carry some sort of photo ID with you, passports & driver's licences are usually the accepted form. Check with the airline you're flying with what forms of ID they accept.
