I am going on a trip, I am going to be in Dublin 7 days. My husband and I do not like to eat out every meal, or buy water and things from vendors so usually we buy from a grocer, any suggestions?...
it's a bit of a walk, but is easy to get to. From Temple Bar, go out onto the quays, cross O'Connell Bridge and turn right and keep going straight along the Liffey for abour 20 minutes. It's on your left. If it's cold, which it probably will be, I also would recommend a taxi. It won't cost that much really. The Liffey river and around it is freezing in cold weather. There is no bus service up that way. Have a good time.

Follow the river Liffey in the opposite direction to the Guiness brewery (if you cross O'Connell bridge then you are going in the right direction)...it's a good 20 - 30 minute walk. The point is on the opposite side of the river to Temple Bar. Or you can just get a taxi...

U could get a taxi, as above, but with the traffic/one way systems/concert on at the point. you could walk it in 20mins, stopping of at O'reilly's under the dart tracks and Vallence and Mgraths on the north wall should break up the walk while you wet the whistle.
