No, Why would you be offended there?
You most likely wouldn't be offended anywhere in Ireland.

Letterkenny has the most non-nationals in the County of Donegal.

If you mean would you be welcome there? I don't see why not, You would be no worse off than being in the UK.

Hey, don't mind those idiots who told you to stay where you are. Personally I think the more we interact with other cultures the better and the Irish have been emigrating for years so have nothing to complain about if anyone wants to immigrate to us. And your English good enough.

I'm from Dublin, Ireland and a native so can't comment from personal experience of racism or Letterkenny specifically. I have witnessed some racism and also great kindness towards non-nationals. When someone is nasty to a non-national often other people will stick up for the person being abused though often not too unfortunately. But it would be no worse than anywhere else I would say.

Maybe these websites will be of use...
www.workpermit.com/ireland/ireland.htm
www.immigrantcouncil.ie
www.immigrationireland.com

If you have a British passport of course you won't need those sites but if you need any other info feel free to email me.
