i've just spent 5months living and working in Dublin, Ireland and there are a few things you should realise.
firstly you need to sort out your accommodation as soon as possible it took me 2months of living in a hostel to find a suitable room for my budget.
secondly Dublin is an expensive place to live so make sure you take some money with you as the Euro is quite strong at the moment.
the best job websites i found were as follows:
1. Irishjobs.ie
2. monsterjobs.ie
3. gumtree.ie (best website for expats has accom. as well)
4. www.jobs.ie
hope this helps and have fun in ireland beautiful country great people and the guinness is heavenly!

you wont have citizenship without the passport, but you will have a right to become a citizen if your parents are both irish. Try jobs.ie

jackie#
check out irish jobs.ie or fas.ie

gen. patton
you'd better check with the state dept. first.
i know a woman who moved there, and couldn't get a job because she wasn't a citizen. and,had to return home.
some people know how to run a country.

perseus
Well if you have irish citizenship through parents, good. Then all you need is an irish passport. When you get there the land is yours.
Googe www.irishlinks co uk
Lots of info on this site.
Be aware that when you use your irish passport,Technically you're returning home. This does'nt entitle you to get back to your home country.Wise to have say a US and Irish passport
