That's not true. Derek Mooney and Miriam Oâ€™Callaghan are willing to take pay cuts.

I don't dispute that nurses do a hard job but they have job security and a guaranteed pension, how many people who work in the private sector can say the same? The pension levy's not nice but imho it's necessary. It's one of the few correct decisions FF has made albeit far too late.

As for Pat Kenny I don't like him on the late late but he generally does a good job on the radio, it depends on who he's interviewing.

The shower at RTE will be affected by the pensions levy just like the nurses but I suspect they'll probably be in for more cuts in the near future.

All that crowd are paid way too much anyway and the people with the most important like you said nurses aren't getting enough in the first place and they have to take a pay cut along with that. I was reading in the paper today that Gerry Ryan gets paid â‚¬600000 a year for going on the radio. Like is there really need for him to get paid that much when the doctors and teachers are not even coming close to that sort of money. And i personally know pat kenny and he's the biggest as$hole in the country.

I totally agree with you, pats a pure plank like.
As for the cuts, thats actually not true, alot of rte presenters incl. pat were asked if they would accept a 10% cut in their wages and the only one who refused was... ryan tubridy!!!

I don't think anyone likes him but, when he was a real reporter he was alright. Also there are some people from RTE willing to take pay cuts. One of the women on the news was the first to agree. It was the bigger names that refused.
