I just drove my Bus from Dublin to Monaghan through a snow blizzard?
We nearly ended up in the Boyne River at Slane when I got stuck up the hill and the bus started slipping down the road back towards the bridge I had just crossed.
Is 10 euros an hour enough to endure sheer terror in the course of one's daily work?
Snowing here in Donegal too. That's one dodgy bit of road there in Slane, accident black spot.€10 an hour? You'll be glad of it if this downturn takes hold mate. You might be safer in Knock.

No.......You're lucky you made it.

Absolutley not! The bus drivers are some of the most underappreciated, overworked people. They have to act as security guards, luggage handlers, as well as bus drivers, and 10 euro an hour is not much above the miniumum wage. I earned that while in uni working behind the bar in 2001. Bus drivers undergo special training and have difficult conditions, and are worth more that 10 euro. That Dublin to Monaghan route is quite tough and long, and I know that part where you got stuck up the hill......very dangerous spot even when it is not snowing.

money wouldn't pay you to drive a night like that i know that stretch of the road you could have ended up with a few extra passengers fish

Certainly is not, on a night like this.
