Try Scotland. Most people in Ireland have dark hair. |

Irish girls tend to be dark haired, you would probably find more red heads in Scotland. Try a holiday first though you could combine Scotland and Ireland and see for yourself. |

There are no more redheaded people here than there would be in the US, I think the more dominant hair colour here is brown.
Redhair is somewhat rare anywhere. |

Red hair is the most uncommon hair colour anywhere, but has slightly higher than normal percentages in 1)Scotland, 2)Ireland 3)rest of Britain. It is thought to be 'celtic' but may well be from viking settlement in certain areas.
Most of the really 'celtic' areas are dark-haired,sometimes very dark though often with blue eyes (though brown is more common in Wales). This is not actually 'celtic' either (if you think of caesar's description of continental celts.)It probably comes from settlement in the
neolithic & earlier) which came from places like Basque Spain (after the Ice Age), the near/middle east (spread of farming ) etc
However, the famous celtic queen Boudicca
was said to have 'tawny' hair whichcould be construed as red |

Try a vacation to Ireland before you commit to move there... also try internet dating (do a search for girls with red hair).
Also, consider the implications of your fetish... red hair alone isn't going to be enough to make a relationship work. |

Yes, there are plenty of us here. But you shouldn't move just because of that. Come visit first. |
