Pretty much no where will hire a 13 year old, regardless of intelligence. You can babysit....thats about it...sorry

I found it hard to get a job at 15 and i'm 'no dozer' either... :D so the chances of you getting a job at 13 are slim. Except for the good old babysitting job.

i live in ireland to and its kind of illegal to hire you under the age of 16..

try do news paper delivery, its what i did, and made a nice profit aswell, or try babysitting.

okay
i'm not sure that many places will hire at 13 but maybe you can try babysitting or something

Groid
You could help kids out with 11+ test papers. A lot of the parents are too busy or out of touch to do this and will pay a good amount to anyone who will help their kid out.

I'm from Ireland too and even though you cannot work in shops, restaurants etc. because of your age there are some things you can do. Besides babysitting and paper rounds what alot of my friends are doing is going back to their old schools from when they were kids and getting jobs doing photocopying etc. but when school is finished for the summer you could always get a small job in a youth club or community centre.

Kat
What about a paper round? It's what most ppl ur age do x

iballica
I doubt you get a job at that age.

Try Newsrounds,

baby sitting.

etc..........

dunno bout up north but in roi its illegal 2 hire ne1 under the age of 16 unless its a family firm...then its 14 so unless ur b-days durin the hols, u can't work...sorry. it mite not b the same up north tho...

Milk round helper, paper rounds, also you could advertise (make your own posters) to wash garden furniture (people get a little possessive about their cars), also advertise as garden helper (with weeding) or dog walking.
Be up front about your age so that people don't give you anything too big to do.

Or make things, painted glass jars and bottles, crochet stuff, knit, felt etc and get your mum to take you to a car boot sale and try your hand at selling your stuff. I realise that this will involve an outlay at 1st but your mum and dad might offer to help with that as it would great on your CV and show initiative

Good luck in all of your endeavours

Not so sure about Ireland, but in many countries, you cannot legally work anywhere until you are about fourteen, and only during certain hours.
Good luck!
