I need help. I'm going to the center of Ireland next week. What kind of clothes should I wear?

the Irish weather can be very funny and seen that your a spanish i would bring mostly things with long sleeves and jeans we do get warm weather so you could pack shirts and shorts also but pack mostly things with long sleeves and jeans

Take them all, but don't forget a light waterproof jacket. Preferably a waterproof and breathable one, bought in an outdoor shop. You'll be totally prepared then.

If you see irish people with a tan....its not a tan....its Rust. cos it rains so much. Summer is one long rain shower with short breaks when gales blow and hail falls. Ireland didn't break of the rest of Europe it was Pried off

The weather is very changeable in Ireland. It's not really warm enough for shorts at the moment, and it's been raining a lot over the past few weeks, but that doesn't mean a heatwave couldn't happen by next week. If you're here for 3 weeks, you could get every type of weather, so bring a waterproof coat (and waterproof shoes if possible), warm jumpers/cardigans, as well as summer clothes.

its not really cold here quite warm actually but wet so make sure you bring a good raincoat or maybe an umbrella with you and you'll be grand enjoy your trip

The weather is very changable here. It can go from one extreme to the next in a matter of hours. Take a variety with you.

Lucky me, I live in the Midlands, the Athlone area.

Theres loads of Spanish here, so you should feel right at home!

Bring T-Shirts, hooded tops, jeans and tracksuit bottoms and you will be find. I see most of the Spanish here wearing those type of things.

Trainers are great footwear too, don't be too big on style thinking sandals or stillettos, because at the moment the weather isnt great. Its pretty rainey and dull most days.

At the moment it's much too cold for shorts. Bring jeans and skirts, good shoes, you won't be needing your summer sandals, long-sleeved t-shirts and a couple of cardigans. It's only about 17 degrees Celsius here at the moment. I think it's ten degrees warmer in Spain, at least.

And don't write 'gonna'. It's 'going to'.

The Irish are not a particular as long as you behave yourself, both of the above would be fine, it just an avaerage

Generally, it isn't cold but then again it isn't very warm either. I would skip the shorts and wear jeans, t-shirts (short sleeves) and bring a light cardigan or two - that way you can layer as needed. A hoodie for nighttime would be good too.

It reminds me a bit of Chicago where the saying is "If you don't like the weather - wait 5 minutes". Very changeable.

Coming from Spain ...I am from the US myself - I would say that it would be colder than you are used to this time of year. Their weather is very mild. But not what I consider hot enough to be needing shorts. Throw in a dressy skirt or something if you go out as well :)

Well, i was there just recently and one thing i can reccommend you take are wellie's. Irish rain will penetrate any other footwear. And also, coats with hoods as it tends to get windy so umbrella's are no use.

Go with the jeans because the weather is very unpredicatable. No harm to pack a pair of shorts but you probaly won't need them. The weather in Ireland has peaked already and probably will be quite wet and cold for the next few weeks.

In general, Ireland is very wet. Dress in layers, have good clothes for the rain, especially your feet. It can be pretty damp.

Ireland get's a lot of rain, and even if it's not raining it's often overcast.

Right now the weather will be comfortable enough to wear shorts, just keep in mind it might be damp.

I just came back from Ireland, i took summer tops, jeans and shorts. I also took long sleeved tops and a warm zip up jumper, umbrella is vital kit too. Basically bring a variety, but that combination served me well for the warm days, the rainy days and the cold winds. Have a great time, you'll love it!

Take summer clothes and warm clothes including wet weather gear. Very recently been to Co Mayo and it rained (sometimes torrentially) for two weeks. You could be lucky with the weather and you may not it is very difficult to judge. Also when it is wet it can become quite cold.
I didn't find a single weather forecast helpful. Co Mayo has a lot of bogland which shows how wet it can be.
Just be prepared for everything. Happy holiday the Irish are brilliant.
