I want to go to Ireland next year with my family. Where should I go?

My kids will be 9 and 12. We want to see castles and lots of scenery. We also want to see famous landmarks. I was thinking about only staying a night or two in one town. What do you think?

if you want scenery then don't go to Dublin, its the capital and its just a big city really - you have to go to west. Killarney and Dingle like a prev person said, but you can do the ring of kerry tour in a day really if you want. Also Galway and Clare are beautiful and you could head over to the Aran islands from galway. Conemara is another place with amazing scenery

have a look at the website:

I highly recommend the ring of Kerry tour and a stop over to Dingle. The tour is no more than a few days but you'll hit up some of the most cultural enriching villages and towns and appreciate the wonderful scenery of Ireland.

Wicklow and Dublin are fun cities. And some good castles to include are Blarney, and if you like the creepy places, Leap Castle. ♣
