well i live in ireland all my life and ive just moved to england last month. ireland really is beautiful.
the only bad thing is that Ireland weather is super unpredictable! it rains one minute, it will be shining the next, then more rain, then a storm, then more sun!
because of this you cant really give an exact time to go, and summer in ireland mightn't be the best choice because we had the most DEPRESSING rainy summer last summer it was dreadful.
i would advise you to go early autumn. that is the best time if you ask me, its usually very nice and sunny and you have a lovely calm breeze stroking in aswell. one time we got the whole of august WITHOUT RAIN! so would advice early august up till the end of september.
you'll have a brilliant stay there!
good luck!

Most people go during spring or summer for the best weather. If it's your first time visiting, this is probably the best time to go. I prefer to travel off season myself - but the weather isn't as nice. You just have to decide what is important to you on your trip. What do you want to see? More things are open in good weather/in season. Get a good guide book and narrow down your itinerary. Do a little basic research on Ireland and your trip will be much better as well.
Have a great trip! Ireland is a beautiful place. |

Months not to go: Jan, Feb, March, maybe April, September October, November and December.
Any other month is fine. This is purely basing it on our fantastic weather. |

we went in early june, it was beautiful. every morning it was a little misty, but it would be sunny before noon, and usually around 60-70 degrees. the hottest day we were there was on the 10th, and it was probably in the low to mid 70's that day. i actually got a sunburn.
i have heard you don't want to go in march, i guess it's pretty rainy and cold then.
have fun, i had a blast!!!! |
