King Sitric in Howth is lovely.

The only thing is its in North county Dublin, so its a good bit outside of the city centre. You can get the Dart out to it. (the Dart is the city train)

Nearer the city centre is the Anglers Rest in Chapelizod. Its a pub restaurant. You'll need to get a taxi there.

As for the city centre I'm afraid I can't think of a really good seafood restaurant at the minute. Hopefully someone else might be able to help you there.

Howth is the main fishing harbour for Dublin and it's where all the trawlers offload the catch. There are some very good fish restaurants in the area and the BEST one is the King Sitric. Book well in advance as there is always a waiting list. No prices shown on the menu and the price reflects the scarcity factor. Be certain that the Company is paying the bill, as it's expensive.
Others close by is Cruzzo in Malahide and Mad Fish in the White Sands Hotel in Portmarnock. Ring at midday and enquire what is the Catch of the Day before you make up your mind.
Wander into Nicky's Plaice on Howth pier to see a great array of fresh fish for retail sale, and have a bowl of fish chowder at Wright's at the train station at lunchtime.
Enjoy!

If you put ..seafood restaurants in dublin into your search bar it will produce a variety of sites..he best restaurants in the city tend to be in and close to O'Connell Street and Grafton Street where you will also find the oldest fish and chip shop in the world and the oldest coffee shop (Bewleys) in the country; both worth visiting..especially Bewleys. The best sea food I ever ate in Dublin was in a fish and chop restaurant near the Illac centre..very ordinary looking and busy with Dubliners having lunch rather than tourists hanging out..unfortunately I can not remember what it was called but I had the sea trout instead of cod and it was simply fantastic! Some of the more famous eateries can be very disappointing, they are resting too heavily on their laurels and I think it is worth dropping into the tourist centre on O'Connell street and asking one or more of the assistants where they like to eat rather than where tourists tend to go. In one of the tourist must-see restaurants I ordered duck Montmorency and was brought a half duck that had been deep fried and then had a can of cherry pie filling poured over it!
