|

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge

Get her one of those International student cards from ISIC. They're very easy to get and you can put down any date of birth you like on them.
They were very handy for us when we were 16 and we went to the pub. Old Bridie the barmaid was always looking for the ID. |

If you're travelling by ferry, you need no I.D. to travel to Ireland from the UK and are a UK / Irish / EU citizen (under the independence agreement 1920, and the Schengen EU internal border directive.
If you're travelling by plane, you need a passport, drivers licence, military/police ID. |

From where ??
Would that be to Northern Ireland or Eire ??
What Nationality is she ??
Most likely she will need a passport but I need more detail for a proper answer.

EDIT
I forgot to mention that she might also need a visa. If she wants to stay longer than 90 days it gets even more complicated. |

Trust me I'm a Doctor ♥
|
I live in Cork. She needs a valid photo ID, either passport or photo ID driving licence, presuming you are travellng from the UK and not Northern Ireland. If you are in Northern Ireland I would hope you know you don't need either.
If she doesn't have them she needs to get one or she won't be allowed to travel. |

If she has her free bus pass, with her photo on it, that will do.
Or a health insurance card or social security card, again with photo attached will do. |
