It shouldn't take more than a few days under normal circumstances. The problem at the moment is that we are in the midst of a severe winter storm and some forms of transport have come to a complete halt...if I even wanted to set foot outside and go anywhere in my car tomorrow I would first have to dig my way to the garage, and then dig my car out! It could depend entirely on where the seller lives here as to whether or not your game will be delayed. Fingers crossed that it doesn't!

greenorlagh
Well if it's going to Northern Ireland then it's the usual time for 1st class - one or two days. You have to remember that Ireland is an island - with two countries on it.

Depends on where you live. Usually no more than 4 days.

Even standard mail reaches Ireland from UK very quickly. First class say 2 days - 3 at most.

Why When How
well if they just used a 1st class stamp it can take ages as they have not paid enough and ROI is a seperate country !!

He needs to send it Airmail and have it weighed at the post office, not just pop a stamp on it. Could be delayed if it doesn't have the correct postage on it.

Post to the Republic of Ireland it costs more than within the UK or to Northern Ireland. A DVD sized/weight game typically cost around £1.71 to post from the UK to the Republic of Ireland and is classed as a "small packet".

I would message him via Ebay and ask him to clarify if he sent it Airmail or not.

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge
About 3 days.
