If we were to impeach the Irish government?

Come on I bet it's passed through a few of your heads recently, if not before, I've always thought FF were scum.
But say it happend and you were put in charge, what'd you do?
Additional Details
Rob agree 100%, I think they're the only ones with any real passion for the country

What would I do?

I’d look at another country’s policies I like and copy them, say Sweden.
There they have an excellent health care system, the world’s best early years and primary education and care and a social welfare system which works in the way it was first envisaged, that is to help those who really need help when they need it.
How does Sweden do this? They’re a high tax economy, they pay dearly for their services but then again they don’t have to fork out huge sums on VHI bills or exorbitant electricity bills.

Rob, if you think the Shinners have a clue how to run a country why don’t you take a closer look at mine, NI?
Here they give themselves a 10 week PAID holiday where they and the buddies the DUP did **** all at my other tax payers expense.
Since SF became the 2nd biggest party they’ve bravely deferred every single important decision because SF and the DUP are incapable of making decisions. They set themselves up as all things to all people and it simply doesn’t work.

Examples:
Water charges: deferred,

The abolition of the 11+ academic selection: SF’s education minister Catharina Ruane has managed to make such a cock up of her job the schools now have absolutely no direction from government in determine what children can go where meaning that the grammar schools will introduce their own exams for entry into their schools which in turn means that those who can afford to get their children tutored will get into the best funded schools.

Ruane did not call one executive meeting in government here and thanks to SF’s unwillingness to compromise there is quite literally anarchy in the education system up here.

The shiners have no balls, that’s why they supported people who kidnapped postmen, put a bomb (with a remote detonator) in their vans and made them drive into Army barracks and police stations under threat of murdering their families if they didn’t follow through.

Some Al-Qaida terrorists blow themselves up to achieve their aims the provo’s who the shiners supported blew up others (regardless as to whether they were innocent or not) to archive theirs.

We'd make Brian Cowen and the rest of the bufoons who run this country live on the 200 euro social welfare unemployment payment to see how they'd like it.

By the way, you're deluded if you think the Shinners are the answer to getting this country out of the mess it's in. There's enough gangsters in the Dail as it is.

Feel free to thumbs down.

FF are useless. They're the reason I'm leaving Ireland. I hope this country goes down the tubes so they never get in Government again!

if we are to believe the polls, FF are going down... but somehow i doubt labour or FG could do a better job. and the greens? well, lets not go there. bertie was what he was but i believe he was a better than biffo

Rob
Do what they do. Call a tribunal, if you don't like the way its going either call a tribunal to look into what went wrong with the first tribunal - or if you think it'll come out with the wrong answer half way though, because they start asking the wrong questions, then say its costing the tax payers too much money so we'll "regrettably" have to scrap it.

Copied from their 2002 manifesto:

"In government, FF will permanently end waiting lists in our hospitals within two years through a combination of bed capacity, primary care, secondary care and targeted reform initiatives."

So how did they do that? replace the tiny wasteful health boards with one huge monolith that is even worse than the ones they got rid of.

I never thought I'd say this, but come the election I'll be going with the Shinners for the first time in my life. I don't think they have the best policies they could have by any stretch of the imagination, but I believe they are the only ones with the balls to follow through with their promises.

Sinn fein wanted to raise the corporate tax, sinn fein and good policies do not mix, Richard Bruton should be handeling this economic crisis he is the only person qualified.

I don't think there is much chance of impeachment, but there seems to be some type of systemic corruption in Fianna Fail. It's nothing new, you only have to look back over the past 20 years at the likes of Ray Burke, Liam Lawler, George Redmond and Charlie Haughey and many others. As a party they seem to be unable to rid themselves once and for all of this corruption or this 'nod and a wink' carry on. Now with the latest scandal about the 'golden circle of 10', I wonder will it only be a matter of time before some journalist connects the dots and they lead back to some minister or Cowen himself. They are the party of the developer, the speculator, the bankers friend, the Galway tent.....Fianna Fail. How long before the dots are connected?

Enda Kenny. Love the guy.
Or Sinn Fein. They'd be an improvement at least.
Was I in charge, the first thing to go, other than Mr. Cowen, would be the Green Party, just a pure headache they are.
And that Mary Hanifan. Can't stand her.
