This is a truly offencive question. I have worked with many people with Down's Syndrome, and the comparison to politicians is insulting and demeaning. To the people with Down's, that is!

poor downsyndrome would do a better job!!n start a Communist party id say!!!!

have enjoyed your debating lately but this is a little beneath you Fairy

in fairness, we're all so fun loving and carefree, does it really surprise you that we ended up with a government that mimics our own attitudes. i think people expect us to have the cream of the political crop, but those people we elected into government also grew up in party filled carefree ireland. i dont think anyone in this generation could do a better job. if you want a stern and proffessional government, move to switzerland!

Ireland is a democratic country where people vote and a government is formed by the party with the most votes. In other words the majority of people put them into power and if things go pear shape will put them out of power. You may not agree with your government, that is you right, but until the majority of people think like yourself there will be no change.
( Your ' Joke ' so not funny ! )
