Dublin is in Ireland, you will have to catch the ferry to Holyhead near Liverpool then drive to Scotland unless you head to Larne and then catch the ferry to Stranraer which is in Scotland, any which way you decide it should take about 3-4 hours in total to get here |

wouldnt bother with sailing to scotland. get a flight. try easyjet.com or ryanair.com |

The driving to the ferry shouldn't take more than a few hours from Dublin, but in November you don't know what kind of weather you should expect. I'd advise having a contingency plan to get to Scotland, or indeed not bother with Scotland and stay in Ireland instead, or travel directly to Britain. |

I love that!!!! My birthday was in August. I never thought of giving myself a birthday pressie!! Enjoy it!!!!
It won't take long if you just drive straight to Scotland, but do stay a while in our lovely country and enjoy what it has to offer.
