Well what to expect weather wise is dead easy rain, rain and more rain. On average in every three days two of them you should expect rain.

The Temperature is slightly lower than England and on a power with Scotland. Last weeks average was 9 Decrease Celsius.

Then about the environment it's very green but is modern mainly like the rest of Europe.

Then depending on where you go it's cultural.

Finally if your love history, politics or geography you'll love it as: It's packed with old sites, buildings and ancient monuments, (some even dating back to BC). It's also packed with lots of natural environmental stuff like the giants causeway in county Atrium and the Burran in co.
Claire.

Hope you have an awesome time! =)

PS Airplanes aren't scary and it's the safest way to travel. (well so far)

About all I can guarantee about Ireland is rain and a friendly welcome.

Have fun

Which part of Ireland are you coming to, and where are you from? (to help with any comparisons). Its a modern Western European country, what more can I say, just dont' take everything everyone says at face value, our humour can get lost in translation.

As for flying, set your watch to ireland time when to you take off, and try to either stay awake or go to sleep, it will help with the jet lag. I find flying boring, airports can be confusing too, so make sure you get there early and check in with plenty of time. Take a decongestant to help stop or relieve your ears from popping, and bring a good book, as depending on where you are coming from it can be a long journey, and bring a hat, in case it rains.

Rain.

Dont worry about the plane ride, because arriving in Ireland is a lot worse!

If you come in to dublin, you should travel to Kildare,I'll show you some of th nakers(they're funny to look at).
