Whoa whoa whoa there!
You sure do ask a lotta questions!
Summer's gone and winter isn't far behind.
So you'd better come back here around next May and ask the question again!
We'd answer your questions now if we could but we could all be gone to hell in a handcart by the time next summer rolls around again.... |

Mind ur business!!

If your goin to be here in Aug then pencil in the 10th, 11th and 12th and stay in Killorglin, Co Kerry for Puck Fair. Its the same dates every year. Its an old Pagan Festival where a goat is captured and placed on a stand foe 3 days and nights as ruler of the Kingdom(Kerry). Nothing cruel happens him RSPCA are involved etc in case you're worried. Its great crack, the place is always packed and loads of street entertainment etc. That area itself is gorgeous, the views of Cahersieven and beaches in Glenbeigh where you can take a horse trek on the beach are fantastic, Dingle is also an hour away where you can take a boat trip to see Fungie the Dolphin. There are not too many hotels in Killorglin there are few B&Bs or try booking a holiday home but you'd want to do it well in advance. Nearest airport to fly into would be Kerry or Shannon. |

Hi!
You should defo rent a car! Ireland is a small country and can get any part in a few hours.
For fun nights out you should visit Dublin, Galway Limerick or Cork.Dublin is the biggest and will have more clubs, pubs and restaurants.
It totally depends on what kind of holiday you want. If you want to the tour of Ireland thing, I suggest you visit the Aran Islands, check out the Burren (Boring in my opinion, its just flat ground with some weird flowers growing on it, but there are caves)the blarney stone in cork, dolphin and whale watching in cork or kerry, visit the giants causeway in Northern Ireland.. check out www.discoverireland.ie
Then there's Dublin, you could visit the Guinness brewery, shopping, see the sites, go to ukiyo bar,(cool japanese karaoke restaurant) and club/pub it up
Also pony trekking in Wicklow might be fun..
Theres some really good surfing in Bundoran in Donegal or ballybunnion in kerry, cork and in waterford or clare..Also some places do kite surfing which is fun..
Check out www.visitdublin.com , www.irishtourguide.net
Moneywise, Ireland is kinda expensive but it all depends on where you go. Dublin is a more expensive place to go out, you might pay 15-20euro into a club and 5euro for a pint of beer.. and further away from dublin its cheaper i think its like 4 something for a beer in my local and I live about 40mins away from Dublin..It all depends on what you will be doing and where you're staying but the sites should give u an idea..
Have fun.. |
