shows 873 residential phone listings for Crowley in Cork. If you could narrow down the area a bit (Cork is a huge county), you might have better success. Do you know where in Co.Cork your father lived before he got married? Even if he married abroad, the church records in his former parish may have his name listed for marriage to your mother, and that entry would give more details of address, parents and possibly siblings if they were witnesses. All of this might take you one step further. Do you have a copy of his marriage certificate? That will give you a town or townland or parish, all of which will help. Then, with that info, check the phone book or contact the local post office - they very often know family connections, especially in the smaller rural areas. If you have no joy there, try a Letter to the Editor at one of the Cork newspapers, some reader may be able to help. Do a google search for Cork newspapers, there are a couple of free weekly papers which are widely read.

Oh, and by the way, there is just one residential phone listing for O'Halleran in the phone book, but there are 158 for O'Halloran, the more usual spelling of the name. Are you sure of the spelling you gave?

Good luck !!

i found listings for Crowley which are here: http://www.eircomphonebook.ie/search/Cork/crowley.html
