OMG! My surname is Lynch (Loingsigh in Irish) too! It's a Cavan name I think.
I believe the most common is O' Brien, because the last High King was Brien Baru and his clan kept their name or something. O'Brien meaning 'From Brien'.
Anyway, it depend on the area really, in Mayo Lyons, Waldron and Murphy are really popular. |

depends on which part of ireland you live in like where i live (wexford) delaney is a common surname but overall in ireland murphy is the most common i would say |
