Emasculated Britain
Initially try looking up Ireland's entry in wikipedia and going from there.

Also try Irish History On Line

PS glad to see your devotion to the union and to Scotland.

try wikipedia, or even e-mail me!lol, i'm irish and pretty interested in irish history and my family were very involved in the war of independence in the 1920s, my great grandfather was jailed for his involvement in the IRA in 1921, i think!

Start with wikipedia, and perhaps you could invest in some books as well. There are also many websites around for various interests, such as Irish music, art, crafts, dance, etc.

alan m
Try the Book " The history of Ireland".

The Internet is one good place to start. Use your search engine to find loads of information and sites available. Type in what you are looking for and take it from there. The local library is another place to find information.
