i found it hard to get broadband, but i bought a vodafone broadband modem, it's ok in my area but i tried out a O2 broadband which was fantastic.

I also know that currofin that broadband internet access and obviously galway city

Rural areas in Ireland in general are poorly served, but whatever is available is wireless access, or if you have the cash available, there is always satellite access.

I know it's a real pain sometimes. Sometimes it'll cut off when you're right in the middle of a conversation and it'll be like dam!

I live about 45miles from Galway in a small parish and we have excellent broadband service because we are only 5 miles from the nearest town! However a village down the road from us has no broadband service which they are always getting the piss taken out of them for!!
