Like the person above me said, Dublin for the puns and clubs. Or any of the major cities, Galway, Cork, Waterford etc. Places like Kerry etc would have hundreds of pubs, a few clubs(but not as many clubs as Dublin) However if you go to Dublin and any of your friends are under 18, there is no chance of them getting in anywhere, the pubs and clubs in the city are a lot stricter then country areas. Wherever you go, make sure you bring a lot of money, Ireland is expensive, but again areas like the country(Kerry etc) would be cheaper then the bigger cities(Dublin)

Kerry is a beautiful place, and really friendly, and there is a lot to do. Im in Dublin and love escaping down to those areas for a weekend just to chill and get drunk!!!

Enjoy your holid ay, wherever you go x

Kerry is beautiful , but its not exactly a hotspot for clubs. There is a lot of pubs there and the atmosphere in them is great. They'll also have traditional irish music being played. Its also got great scenery for during the day if youre into that sort of thing. Galway city might be a good choice if you like nightlife, its a big student town, loads of pubs and young people. And its still on the west so you could get to do some daytrips to the tourist places...aran islands, dingle etc.
Of course dublin is the best for clubs and nightlife, but i think if you want to experience the real ireland, then go for the west...galway, kerry...etc
And make sure you bring photo id with u when u try to get into the pubs and clubs

Galway city, Kilkenny city, Waterford city, Limerick city or Cork city.

Kerry is mostly rural and while you might enjoy a day or two looking around, it won't really have that much for your age group.

Dublin has good night life but it's expensive. The places listed in the first paragraph are worth checking out and you won't need to rely on public transport to get around them. But to be honest, if you're going for clubs and pubs only, why bother? You can get that anywhere ....

'Er indoors!!
Dublin is the place to be if you want nightlife, pubs clubs, and an all round good time. If you want culture, Galway is lovely, and where my dad was born. Enjoy Ireland, it's lovely, and the people are the BEST.

MUSICGUY
Dublin is the absouloute best place for nightlife
please do not go to kerry i urge you i was there for a week and came back home to Dublin depressed :P nothing to do and rains triple times more than dublin

to sum it all up
GO TO DUBLIN

You should definately visit Kerry as there is loads to do there and it is such a beautiful scenic county, with a stunning coastline, rivers, lakes, green fields, mountains (the tallest in Ireland!) and lots of pretty towns dotted all over its countryside.

If you love going out then you should definately stop off in Killarney - known as 'Beauty's Home' as it's just so beautiful! It can be found lying at the foot of Ireland's highest mountain range and is surrounded by three stunning lakes and a national park! There is just so much to do in this town! By day you can enjoy a guided boat ride on the lake, go horse riding in the park, visit Muckross House (one of Ireland's top attractions), Torc Waterfall, or Ross Castle or you could go shopping in the town - it has some really good clothes/gift shops. At night the town comes alive especially during the summer but no matter when you visit here its always busy! Killarney's nightlife is legendary and people come from far and wide to go out and enjoy themselves in this town! It's brimming with traditional pubs, disco bars, and nightclubs so you won't be stuck for somewhere to enjoy yourself!!

Another good spot to visit in Kerry is Dingle which is about 1.5 hours drive from Killarney (you can get a bus). It's such a lively spot and great for going out!

Kenmare is another beautiful town situated about 40 minutes south of Killarney, and is located on the famous 'Ring of Kerry' scenic driving route. It a fantastic spot for going out at night and has lots of bars, pubs and clubs.

Hope you visit and enjoy!!!

I am from Cork and I'd go to Killarney for a weekend its a good laugh down there and there is lots of pubs and a few clubs and late night bars... A good place to stay is Mc Surleys as thats the main night club and you get in for free and its only around 50euro a night.. Cork is only down the road if find Killarney boring maybe you could do one night in each place..

Rossie
kerry is more of a touristy, scenic, historical type of place, there are some good pubs and clubs in towns like killarney, tralee and kenmare but if you want to see the real nightlife you will have to head for places like galway, dublin, limerick or cork. The pubs and clubs in these cities are numerous and probably would suit you guys alot more. Come back to kerry in about 20 years, you will enjoy it more then

Like the people before me siad Dublin? Galway
Kerry is cool but right down the south of the country so anywhere you decide to go to for a change will be a journey.

Galway is propably best considering your age, Dublin has alot of over 21 clubs/pubs.
If you choose Galway check out Bar 903/The front door/The quays. Clubs C.Ps
