Padraigh Pearse, Eamon De Valera, James Connolly,Tom Clarke, Joseph Plunket, Eamaonn Ceannt and Sean Mac Diarmada
Michael Collins was in the GPO helping out Pearse.
If you want to talk about peoples views you should be aware that the people of Dublin spat at and threw tommatos at the leaders as they were been taken to Jail. It was only after the executions that people began to feel sympathy for the rebells. |

Priscilla - You're a little minx!
We can't remember much about the Rising. We were only babes in arms at the time but we do remember our poor mother couldn't get any postage stamps for a while because they'd taken over the GPO and she couldn't collect the lone parent allowance either.
We couldn't get any Kimberley, Mikado or Coconut Creams either cos they'd taken over the Jacob's factory as well. We think they were probably trying to find out how Jacobs got the figs into the Fig Rolls.
We do know that the IRB had something to do with it though God knows why the International Rugby Board were getting involved in a military coup.
Anyway sher click on this if you want to find out more:

Surely you should know this if you are studying it.
If you are not studying it then why are you doing an essay on a topic that is not part of your curriculum? |

If you have to talk about people's views, then why have you chosen the Easter Rising? It happened nearly a century ago. It's hardly current and the people whose views you want are all dead.
