Well, you're 16, so you should by rights be still in school. Look into FAS courses.

no, go back into education/training and you will find it a lot easier when you get professional qualifications. what do you want to do, try fas they do some great apprenticeships. without good qualifications you will find it hard for the rest of your life.

5 years ago i had to leave ireland to get a job yet somehow hundreds of thousands of immigrants got work in ireland...

could it be the fact they are being paid less than minimum wage

If you have left school then your going to find it hard to get a job with no qualifications i.e leaving certificate. Try FAS and see what they can do for you. Otherwise if your still in school and just looking for a summer job then keep looking and im sure somewhere will be hiring. You will not be legally allowed emigrate at 16, you will have to wait till 18.

i do believe we will ride this one out so hold of even thinking about emigrating for about 5 to 6 years this is not to see will thing get better but your still to young even at 21 or 22 to be thinking of it
