Irish Girls, I need your help? |
I live in Canada and there is the girl at my workplace, she is very pretty. She has red hair, blue eyes and fair skin. I don't know if she is Irish or not cause she doesn't have an accent (it would be cool if she did). Point being said, I want to ask her out for drinks, but I don't want to come off a guy who plays on sterotypes. What is a good place to ask her out?
Also I loved the show The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. Too bad they cancelled it.
Thank you for you help |

I am Irish but live in the US and have the same features as her, but just because she is Irish does not mean that you should ask her out any other way than you would ask a Canadian girl out. |

Just say 'Hey I've noticed you alot lately, fancy going for some drinks after work/_____ night etc.' then if she says yeah bring it up while you are out for the drinks saying something like 'So where are your from/born?' or 'I'm going to Ireland in the summer, do you know what it's like?'
If she is Irish and interested in you, do not start bring up stuff about leprechauns, Tir na Nog, etc.!!! |

Yeah, she sounds irish, or from an irish decent. Go for it! ask her out for drinks on a weekend, but dont suggest an irish pub just becasue shes irish. Good luck! : )
oh and dont worry, she wont think your assuming she wants to go out for a drink. : ) |

If you think she's Irish because of her red hair then you should probably consider that a lot of Scottish people have red hair too.
Why don't you just ask her where she's from? It's a good conversation piece and then you could segue into a dating proposition. Then maybe take her to a place that serves food from whichever country she hails from. |
